The day and evening long festivities will host over 600 guests including tastemakers and industry leaders, and take place at a private mansion along the Bridle Path where attendees will be entertained with beloved Toronto fashion brands NARCES, HENDRIXROE, CDN Clothing, Accessories by Nola and VENAO Swimwear who will present Spring/Summer runway collections. Musical performances by an unforgettable cast of rising and established music stars from New York, Miami, Toronto, Montreal and Calgary includes world-renowned electric violinist Dr. Draw, Toronto’s rising star Pluto, Shi Wisdom, Uppercut of Montreal, past “A Splash of Style” Miami edition DJ Fizza and many more. Performance art will also make its presence felt, with hometown favourites AcroBuddhas, Emm Jennings, and Scarlet Black showcasing. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience and purchase the artwork of some of Toronto’s top artists, Tibi Hegyesi, Ivana Janjic, Kristina Falconer, and Taline Iskedjian, with a portion of sales going to support event partner charity, WaterAid.
One of the most sought-after events of the summer, A Splash of Style will be raising awareness and funds is support of clean water, sanitation and hygiene. Through the proceeds of the event, Dreamwater in conjunction with WaterAid Canada will deliver lifesaving clean water services. WaterAid works in 26 countries around the world in the poorest and most marginalized communities. Through local partners WaterAid delivers sustainable, integrated clean water projects to those who need it most.
“We are very excited to be partnering with A Splash of Style in Toronto, in order to bring clean water to some of the 748 million people globally who currently lack it. The work that will be delivered by these funds will help positively change the lives of some of the world’s poorest and most marginalized,” states WaterAid Canada’s Senior Communications Manager, Graham Milner.
The eclectic community of event designers, artists, musicians, Djs and sponsors aim to support WaterAid, with onsite event raffles and contests raising money in support of WaterAid programs. Ticket giveaway opportunities will be posted online throughout the week through WaterAid and A Splash of Style social media pages, which will include an opportunity to win a floating diamond ZANIS watch, the chance to be a “HENDRIXROE Star” while wearing a signature dress on the red carpet, a skydiving package courtesy of Skydive Burnaby, and having the opportunity to cruise in a Lamborghini for the day by Kamorrah Art Centre.
